Harriet Groß
Spaces are what occupy Harriet Gross in her artistic work. With varying materials such as tape, string, rods, tubes, or blinds, she installs structures and traces of the socially constructed memory, idea, or social spaces into the respective found spaces encompassed under strongly reduced color schemes. It is the viewer's gaze that must actively construct the spatial image, which the artist considers a meaningful contribution to her work.

Biography
Harriet Gross was born in Munich in 1967 and lives and works in Berlin.
She studied medicine at the Freie Universitaet Berlin and fine arts at the Hochschule der Kuenste Berlin and the Royal College of Art in London.
Her drawings, cutouts, and spatial installations are represented in numerous private and public collections, including the Kupferstichkabinett Berlin, the CGAC Santiago de Compostela, the Herzogin Amalia Bibliothek Weimar and the Haus des Rundfunks Berlin. They are regularly shown internationally in solo and group exhibitions.
